The format
- SectionsChecking, Logical reasoning, Number series
- Time15 min, 5 per section
- Marking+1 right, -1 wrong, 0 skipped
- Going backNot possible
- Then10 untimed work-style pairs
Wrong answers lose marks
Each right answer earns 1 mark, each wrong answer loses 1 and a skipped question scores 0. Every question has a Skip button, and your results show your score with and without the penalty.
How to approach it
- Answer only when you're sure, and skip the rest without a second thought
- On True, False or Cannot say, a blind guess loses a third of a mark on average
- Check records character by character, as the differences are small on purpose
- Nobody is expected to finish, so a steady pace beats rushing
- Use a desktop or laptop, as the employer's version reportedly won't run on a phone
More optionsExtra time, worked examples
- Worked examples firstOne untimed example from each section
