About financeprep.uk
Calm, private practice for the tests and video interviews that follow a finance application
Built by Antonio Stancati, a Warwick Business School first-year
Applying for finance roles in the UK often means a screening stage before you speak to anyone: a numerical test, a set of workplace scenarios, a recorded interview or a quick-fire maths test. The invite can arrive days after you apply.
financeprep.uk lets you get used to those formats first. The practice tools run in your browser, and the guides explain each stage in plain English.
Principles
- Original questionsEvery question, scenario and dataset is written for practice, never taken from a real assessment
- Before, never duringUse it to prepare, never while you're taking a live assessment
- Honest about what we knowGuides label each claim as official, reported or unverified and link to the source
- Private by designTools run in your browser with no analytics, recordings never leave your device, and you can see or delete your saved progress
- IndependentNot affiliated with any employer or assessment provider, with presets named by format, never by firm
- Education onlyNot financial advice, and never a promise of a score, an interview or an offer
- FreeNo account and nothing to pay
Who builds it
financeprep.uk is an independent project by Antonio Stancati, a first-year at Warwick Business School. It started as the practice I wanted for my own spring week applications, and it focuses on what students ask when an invite lands: what the format is, how long they'll get and how to practise for it. It's free for everyone, starting with Warwick's finance society.
