Cappfinity-style drills
Cappfinity-style numerical reasoning
Data in tabs, one question per page, answered by picking, typing or ordering, with your time recorded
Used by HSBC (Official), Deloitte (Official), Deutsche Bank (Unverified), Rothschild & Co (Unverified), Fidelity International (Unverified)
The format
- Length12 questions: the standalone module
- LayoutOne question per page, with its data in tabs beside it
- AnswersPick an option, type the exact figure or put items in order
- TimeNo limit, but your time on each question is recorded
- Have readyYour own calculator, pen and paper
The standalone module, reported
No limit, but the time you take on each question is recorded, as the format usually works
How to approach it
- Read every tab before you calculate, because an email often changes which figures count
- Check the units and rounding each question asks for before you type
- Work steadily, because time counts but a quick wrong answer costs more than a few extra seconds
More optionsExtra time, going back, clock
- Go back within a sectionUntil you submit the section, or off to go forward only
- Show a clockTime on each question, while time is only recorded
Extra time applies to the limit on each question
