| Going backThe provider doesn't describe a way back, so forward only is our reading | Not possible: answer and the next one appears | Unverified |
| RulesThe kinds of rule in the provider's five worked examples | A block of one shape, the four corners, fixed cells holding one shape (the same shape, or one that changes between examples) and how many of the most common shape there are | OfficialSource for Rules |
| Two rules at onceOur addition for harder levels, as each of the provider's examples uses one rule | From level 7 | Unverified |

| Before the testThe provider's practice paper also works through five example tasks; repeats here alternate between the kinds of rule | 3 practice tasks you can repeat, then a summary page | OfficialSource 1 for Before the testSource 2 for Before the test |
| PausingEnd test is here for practice only | Not possible, and the test ends itself when time is up | OfficialSource for Pausing |
| UBSOther prep sites report a 12-task test for UBS instead | A 6-minute grid test | UnverifiedSource for UBS |
