What it looks at
Working memory: holding the last couple of letters in mind, updating them as each new one arrives, and reacting only when one repeats from two places back. This game does have right and wrong responses, and pressing when you shouldn't counts against you just as missing a match does.
How to play
Letters appear one at a time in the middle of the screen. Press when the letter on screen is the same as the letter two before it, and do nothing otherwise. There is no key for “not a match”.
The first two letters can never be matches. The stream is 40 letters long and runs at 1 second a letter, so it keeps moving whether you answer or not.
